Rupert Giles sitting by an open fire,
Glasses missing from his nose,
The Who's best songs
Sung in a voice that never tires,
And he's dressed up in a bathrobe.
Everybody knows
That Ripper makes the girls' hearts race
With that twinkle in his eye.
Ally and Steph, with their eyes all aglow
Will see him in their dreams tonight.
They know that Giles is on his way.
He's feeding them chocolate and tea upon a tray,
And every Buffy fan is gonna cry
If Rupert's head is gone and he's gonna die.
So, I'm offering this simple phrase,
To Joss and Jane and David, too.
Although it's been said, many times, many ways,
Lay a hand on Giles,
Just one hand on Giles,
Even a fingertip on Giles, and
You're through.
